classical and the romantic approaches

The classical approach of looking at things is about looking into the inner workings of the object . The 'know how and know why' attitude of the on looker drives him to delve deeper into the object's state and behaviour. Thus this approach or attitude towards the environment makes it easier for the inhabitants to mend the objects at their disposal at the time of their dysfunctionality.

The romantic way of thought is more inclined towards the impact of an object's behaviour on the onlooker's psyche. Thus a dysfunctional object which tends to cause discomfort or frustrations is maligned and disposed off.

In the book , Zen and the art of Motorcycle maintenance, the classical and romantic approaches and their impact on the way one deals with the environment, are explained. From what I could get, one needs to be a 'cultural romanticist' to live and love life.

combination

how can all possible combinations of a string or an array of characters be printed.
suppose we have to print all possible combinations of three character a,b,c
.Here's how someone did it
create an array with contents a,b,c,a,b,c ( repeating the characters again).
now print the first three characters a, b,c . Then print three characters , leaving the first character from previous list. So we print b,c,a. Then we print c,a,b. We stop it here and move back from c (not from b).
So we print c , b, a , then b, a ,c then a,c,b and stop. So here they are, the three factorial combinations
abc,bca,cab,bac,acb,cba.
I got up and then was in front of a women in a black cloak, taller than any one I ever saw,
Her eyes were red, with a hue I have never known before. I tried to run away but I couldn't.
She grinned, She began to speak

rain rain go away

Split into two, I was left puzzled.
On a Dreary day followed by a stormy night, I searched outside and inside
but couldn't find the other self. I ran out, I lay on the floor, listening to the discordant choir far across the wet moonlit street.
Reason shrouded by fright, I turned to look at my house.
